The latest working update adds two important controls:

• Cookie-based display frequency
• A layout option that can keep the original Section or Row visible on the page

The display frequency control now supports:

• Every trigger
• One time
• Once per day
• Once per week
• Once per month

These limits use browser cookies, making it easier to avoid showing the same popup too often to the same visitor.

The new Keep In Page Layout option gives you more flexibility. You can still use the original behavior, where the popup-enabled Section or Row is removed from the normal frontend layout and shown only as a popup. Or, you can keep the Section or Row in its original page position while also showing a popup copy when its trigger fires.

This is especially helpful when the same content should be available both inline and as a timed or triggered reminder.

Divi Popup Studio currently provides:

• Add popup behavior to Divi Sections and Rows

• Use page load, time delay, scroll distance, exit intent, or manual selector triggers
• Set display frequency with cookies

The plugin can control how often a visitor sees a popup:

• Every trigger: The popup can appear whenever its trigger fires.
• One time: The popup appears once for that visitor.
• Once per day: The popup can appear again after one day.
• Once per week: The popup can appear again after one week.
• Once per month: The popup can appear again after about one month.

These controls are useful when balancing visibility with visitor experience. For example, an important announcement might appear once per day, while a newsletter signup might only need to appear one time.

Divi Theme or Divi Builder

1. Download the plugin package.
2. Upload the plugin folder through the WordPress plugin installer.
3. Activate Divi Popup Studio.
4. Go to Settings > Divi Popup Studio.
5. Set your global popup defaults.
6. Open a page in the Divi Visual Builder.
7. Open a Section or Row settings panel.
8. Go to Content > Pop-up Studio Settings.
9. Enable Use as Popup.
10. Choose the trigger and display options.
11. Save the page and test it on the frontend.

Can the Section or Row stay visible on the page?

Yes. Enable Keep In Page Layout to leave the original Section or Row in place while also using it as popup content.

Can I open a popup from a button?

Yes. Use the manual selector trigger and assign the matching class or selector to a button or link.

Will Divi gallery or image lightboxes work inside Popup Studio popups?

Yes. Popup Studio is designed so Divi image and gallery lightboxes can appear above the Popup Studio overlay.
