Local Businesses join forces to raise money for Bloomingdale PTA
To kick off Spring, a group of local businesses have come together to show their support for the Bloomingdale, NJ PTA through a fundraising event. The fundraiser took place on April 2nd and 3rd and offered something for everyone. There was an Easter Bunny, cookies, family photos and much more at the Glenwild Garden Center. Together, they raised a total of $867.00 from the event. Proceeds went directly to supporting future programs held by the PTA. Skyland Creative, Magpie Bakery, Glenwild Garden Center and Home Sweet Home are proud to have donated their time, space, money and effort in this great cause that supports our community!
The event was the brainchild of local PTA parent volunteers Michael Crowl (PTA President), Leanne Scaturro (Fundraising Chair), and the PTA fundraising committee, as well as local Real estate broker, Jennifer Ellis, from Home Sweet Home who worked closely with Bart Klemensowski, the owner of a local design company, Skyland Creative, to offer family portraits with the Easter Bunny at the Glenwild Garden Center. Melanie Stripeikis from Magpie Bakery offered fresh goodies, while Jodie Bross provided the most beautiful backdrop at the Glenwild Garden Center.
As quoted by Bart from Skyland Creative, “When I was tagged to help organize and photograph this event I immediately said yes! We have never done something like this before and I jumped at the opportunity to use our creative services to help the local community!”.
The Team plans on working together again for future events, so if you missed out, there will be another chance to participate in a few months!
